The U20 Vietnam national football team, led by head coach Yutaka Ikeuchi, has finalized its 23-player roster for the 2027 AFC U20 Asian Cup qualifiers. The squad will compete in Group C, hosted at Viet Tri Stadium in Phu Tho, Vietnam, from August 31 to September 6, 2026.

Notable inclusions in the squad are senior-level players Đinh Quang Kiệt, a defender from the 2026 ASEAN Cup championship team, and midfielder Nguyễn Lê Phát, who previously competed at the U23 level. The team has undergone intensive preparation, including a training camp in Japan featuring six friendly matches.

Group C features U20 Vietnam alongside U20 North Korea, U20 Iran, and U20 Palestine. U20 North Korea has arrived in Phu Tho to begin their campaign, while the tournament will be officiated by a panel of international referees from Bahrain, Tajikistan, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, India, and Bahrain. To secure a spot in the final tournament, Vietnam must aim to finish at the top of their group or among the best runners-up.
