UAA and FENAMAC to open chess high performance center

The Universidad Autónoma de Aguascalientes (UAA) and the National Chess Federation of Mexico (FENAMAC) have announced plans to open a High Performance Center for chess at the university's facilities in the coming months.

During a recent meeting, FENAMAC President Raúl Hernández Hernández presented UAA Rector Juan Carlos Arredondo with a commemorative medal from the International Chess Federation (FIDE) in recognition of the university's support for the promotion and development of the sport in the region. The new center aims to enhance the analytical and strategic skills of the university community and young talents within the state.
