UAB overcomes Louisiana Monroe for 26-20 comeback win

UAB secured a 26-20 comeback victory against Louisiana Monroe on Saturday. The turning point occurred with 9:34 remaining in the game when Ryder Burton threw a 43-yard touchdown pass to EJ Reid, giving the Blazers a 23-20 lead.

Following the touchdown, UAB's Ike Esonwune intercepted Austin Carlisle to halt a Louisiana Monroe drive. The Blazers subsequently extended their lead with a 42-yard field goal by Jonah Delange with 1:10 left on the clock. Louisiana Monroe, which held a 17-10 halftime lead, failed to score on their final possessions.
