UAB women's soccer defeats ULM 2-1

The UAB women's soccer team secured a 2-1 victory over ULM at Brown Stadium. After ULM took an early lead in the second minute via Ines De Lope Casanova, UAB responded with two goals in a four-minute span during the 28th and 32nd minutes.

Caitlin Keeling scored her first goal of the season to equalize, followed by Ava Metts, who recorded her first career goal to put the Blazers ahead. UAB maintained control throughout the match, finishing with a 17-7 advantage in shots and 56 percent possession. Goalkeeper Macie Murphy earned her first win of the season with five saves.
