UABC Faculty of Accounting and Administration celebrates 65 years

The Faculty of Accounting and Administration (FCA) at the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California (UABC) celebrated its 65th anniversary in Tijuana. The event brought together university authorities, academic and administrative staff, students, and alumni to recognize the institution's history and its role in professional training.

Founded on September 25, 1961, as the School of Economics and Administrative Sciences, the faculty has evolved to include programs in accounting, administration, information technology, and financial and business intelligence. UABC Rector Luis Enrique Palafox Maestre noted the faculty's contribution to the development of Baja California, highlighting its current enrollment of over 5,130 students and its nationally and internationally recognized educational programs.

FCA Director Margarita Ramírez Ramírez honored the various generations that have shaped the faculty's history and contributed to its community values.
