UABC holds inaugural alumni raffle with 50,000 participants
The Universidad Autónoma de Baja California (UABC), through Sorteos UABC and in collaboration with Fundación UABC, held its first Alumni Raffle. The free registration initiative was designed to engage and recognize the university's professional alumni community.
More than 50,000 graduates participated in the event. The top prize of 500,000 pesos was awarded to Martín Jesús from Tijuana. The second prize of 100,000 pesos went to Ramiro from Mexicali, and the third prize of 50,000 pesos was awarded to Regina from Ensenada.
Additional prizes included 10,000 peso checks for several winners from Tijuana and Mexicali, gift cards for the UABC Store, and over 200 tickets for the upcoming 97th Sorteo Magno de la UABC. The initiative aims to strengthen communication between the institution and its graduates while facilitating access to continuing education opportunities.
