UABC inaugurates Francisco Chávez Corrujedo exhibition in Tecate

The Universidad Autónoma de Baja California (UABC) has inaugurated the exhibition ‘Contrastes: Contemplación y reflexiones desde la cotidianidad’ at the Galería Espacio Norte in Tecate. The exhibition features the work of Francisco Chávez Corrujedo, a prominent figure in the visual arts of Baja California.

During the opening, UABC Rector Luis Enrique Palafox Maestre highlighted Corrujedo’s significant contribution to both artistic production and the education of multiple generations of artists. The exhibition focuses on interpreting everyday scenes through technical mastery of chiaroscuro, perspective, and composition, inviting viewers to find new meaning in common life.
