UABC launches multiple art exhibitions across Baja California

The Universidad Autónoma de Baja California (UABC) has launched several cultural exhibitions across its campuses in Mexico. In Tijuana, the faculty of arts inaugurated ‘Cartografías Sensibles’ at the Álvaro Blancarte Art Gallery, featuring the work of 25 faculty members. The exhibition explores themes such as territory, memory, identity, and the body, highlighting the creative practices of the university's educators.

At the Tecate campus, the Galería Espacio Norte is hosting ‘Contrastes: Contemplación y reflexiones desde la cotidianidad’ by artist Francisco Chávez Corrujedo. The photographic collection focuses on daily life through techniques of chiaroscuro and perspective. Chávez Corrujedo is a founding member of the university's first plastic arts workshop.

Other scheduled exhibitions include ‘Insectos: extintos y en peligro’ in Mexicali and ‘Unión Europea: Hacia un futuro verde e inclusivo’ in Ensenada.
