UABC reaccredits Psychopedagogy and Language Teaching programs

The Universidad Autónoma de Baja California (UABC) has secured its fourth consecutive reaccreditation for the Psychopedagogy and Language and Literature Teaching degree programs. Following an external evaluation by the Committee for the Evaluation of Pedagogy and Education Programs (CEPPE), the accreditation will be valid from June 23, 2026, to June 23, 2031.

UABC Rector Luis Enrique Palafox Maestre stated that the recognition validates the academic training provided to students, noting that the process involved extensive work including tutoring, research, and student trajectory management. Benito Guillén Niemeyer, president of the CEPPE, noted that a fourth reaccreditation requires higher standards, as programs must demonstrate concrete progress in addressing previous recommendations.

The university plans to follow up on the committee's report by updating programs and incorporating artificial intelligence tools to ensure continuous improvement.
