UABCS hosts virtual workshops for ANUIES-TIC 2026 summit

The Universidad Autónoma de Baja California Sur (UABCS) has launched a series of virtual workshops as part of the ANUIES-TIC 2026 program. The upcoming national summit, scheduled for October 12–16, 2026, will be hosted by UABCS and is expected to bring together representatives from over 150 higher education institutions, specialized agencies, and technology companies.

The initiative aims to facilitate the digital transformation of higher education institutions through the exchange of knowledge and technological solutions. The inaugural phase included a workshop focused on artificial intelligence agents in university workflows, covering tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Copilot. Dr. Luis Armando González Placencia of ANUIES and UABCS Rector Dr. Dante Salgado González emphasized the importance of collaborative spaces to address the challenges and opportunities presented by new technologies in academia.
