UABCS joins national university auditor program

The Universidad Autónoma de Baja California Sur (UABCS) has joined the National Program of University Auditors. This initiative was formalized through a collaboration agreement between the Asociación Nacional de Universidades e Instituciones de Educación Superior (ANUIES) and the Auditoría Superior de la Federación (ASF).

The program aims to strengthen a culture of ethics, transparency, accountability, and the responsible management of public resources among new generations. It involves ten public higher education institutions across Mexico in joint actions focused on training students in fiscalization, reporting mechanisms, and civic participation.

For UABCS students, the program offers opportunities to enhance their professional training through social service, gaining practical experience in the oversight of public funds. The signing ceremony took place at the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (UANL) and included participation from UABCS Rector Dante Salgado González, ANUIES Executive General Secretary Luis Armando González Placencia, and ASF head Aureliano Hernández Palacios Cardel.
