Oaxaca authorities locate Amber Alert minor and arrest suspect

In Oaxaca, the Fiscalía General del Estado (FGEO) successfully coordinated with authorities in Morelos to locate a minor under an active Amber Alert. The child was found in Zipolite, San Pedro Pochutla, after being reported missing from Tepoztlán, Morelos. Following the recovery, the minor was reunited with their family.

In a separate legal action, the FGEO arrested a man identified as H. D. P. C. in connection with charges of aggravated pederasty and domestic violence against a minor. Investigations indicate the alleged abuse occurred between 2021 and 2025 in Oaxaca de Juárez and Villa de Zaachila. The suspect has been placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry to determine his legal status.
