UABJO celebrates student awards and new development plan

The Universidad Autónoma Benito Juárez de Oaxaca (UABJO) has reached several institutional milestones. Ten students from the university were honored with the 2026 State Youth Award in various categories, including culture, human rights, and social transformation. The ceremony was attended by Rector Farid Acevedo López and Governor Salomón Jara Cruz.

Additionally, the university has finalized its Institutional Development Plan (PID) for the 2026-2030 period. Developed through a participatory process involving the university community, the plan focuses on five fundamental axes, including gender equality, interculturality, and sustainability.

To promote campus integration, UABJO also organized a friendly soccer tournament involving various academic units and preparatory schools to strengthen institutional identity and student well-being.
