UABJO hosts legal panel on amparo and accusatory systems
The Faculty of Law and Social Sciences at the Autonomous University ‘Benito Juárez’ of Oaxaca (FDCS-UABJO) held a panel titled ‘Synergies between the amparo trial and the accusatory system.’ The event aimed to strengthen the academic training of future lawyers by providing tools for professional practice.
During the session, faculty director Fredy Sánchez García emphasized that legal training requires analytical capacity, argumentation, and a commitment to justice beyond mere knowledge of norms. The panel featured magistrates Jahaziel Reyes Loaeza, Elizabeth Franco Cervantes, and Víctor Hugo Cortés Sibaja from the First Collegiate Tribunal of the Thirteenth Circuit in Criminal and Labor Matters in Oaxaca.
