UACH opens 2026 calls for academic and children's book publishing

The Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua (UACH), together with the Sindicato del Personal Académico de la UACH (SPAUACH), announced the “UACH‑SPAUACH 2026” call for the publication of academic works in its Textos Universitarios collection. The invitation is directed to faculty, researchers, staff, alumni and retirees who have original, unpublished Spanish manuscripts across a wide range of disciplines. Submissions must be sent under a pseudonym, will undergo double‑blind peer review and plagiarism screening, and the deadline is 23:59 on 3 November 2026. Results are expected in the first half of 2027, with winning works published in a first edition and made freely available in digital format.

In parallel, UACH launched the “Colección Bellota” call to foster children’s literature. The same eligibility rules apply, and selected manuscripts will be printed in a first edition and possibly released as free PDFs. The deadline mirrors the academic call, and the university will announce the outcomes in the last quarter of 2026.
