UACH student completes academic exchange at University of Oviedo

Clarissa Soto Leyva, a communication sciences student from the Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua (UACH), completed a six-month academic exchange program at the University of Oviedo in Gijón, Spain.

During her time in Asturias, Soto Leyva engaged with diverse international students and experienced different academic methodologies, including rigorous evaluation methods and timed examinations. She noted that the experience provided significant personal growth, allowing her to navigate cultural differences and gain a broader global perspective.

Soto Leyva highlighted the importance of civic responsibility, noting that the cleanliness of public spaces and the respect for communal environments in Spain were key observations she intends to apply to her own life and citizenship in Mexico.
