Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua to host international circular economy symposium

The Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua (UACH) will host the International Symposium on Circular Economy and Biobased Materials on September 28 and 29, 2026. Organized through the Faculty of Zootechnics and Ecology in collaboration with CIMAV and the CYTED BioRed Iberoamérica Network, the event aims to foster sustainable innovation and knowledge transfer to the industry.

The symposium will gather researchers, industry representatives, and decision-makers from across Ibero-America to discuss scientific advances and strategies for the development and validation of biobased materials. Key themes include biomass valorization, biodesign, environmental remediation, and public health. The program features keynote lectures, research presentations, and specialized laboratory visits, with virtual options available to increase participation.
