UACJ launches patent drafting course for students and researchers

The Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez (UACJ) is offering a two‑day Patent Drafting Course on 6–7 August. Specialists from the Instituto Mexicano de la Propiedad Industrial (IMPI) will train faculty, researchers and students in preparing patent applications, covering essential elements and best practices for legal protection of inventions.

The sessions will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Audiovisual Hall of the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IIT) building H1. The program aims to strengthen the university’s culture of intellectual‑property protection, facilitate technology transfer to the productive sector, and promote scientific, social and economic impact of university‑generated innovations.
