UACJ receives technological donation for accounting program

The Accounting Program of the Institute of Social Sciences and Administration (ICSA) at the Autonomous University of Ciudad Juárez (UACJ) has received a donation of two advanced projectors. The equipment was provided by the Mexican Institute of Public Accountants (IMCP) of Ciudad Juárez.

The donation, delivered on October 26 at the university's north campus, was funded by proceeds from the annual Accounting Student Week. This academic event, held between March and April, features professional update conferences hosted by the IMCP with student participation from the university.

Dr. Sixta Cobos Floriano, coordinator of the Accounting Program, noted that while a collaboration agreement has existed for years, this marks the first time under the current administration that the program has received this type of in-kind support. Dr. Juana Barraza Gómez, president of the IMCP, emphasized the ongoing relationship between the two institutions and the commitment to supporting the academic training of future public accountants.
