UAE advances digital tax transformation through e-invoicing

The UAE Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) hosted the UAE E-Invoicing Boot Camp 2026 in Abu Dhabi on August 13, 2026. The event focused on the digital transformation of the nation's tax ecosystem and the implications of transitioning to e-invoicing for businesses.

Finance, tax, compliance, and technology professionals attended to discuss regulatory readiness, internal controls, and technology integration. Abdulla Al Bastaki, Chief Executive Officer of the Information Technology Sector at the Federal Tax Authority (FTA), addressed the gathering regarding the UAE’s e-invoicing journey and the broader digitalization of tax administration.
