Mato Grosso officials seek UAE investment in agribusiness and tourism

Authorities from Cuiabá and the state of Mato Grosso have engaged in high-level meetings with United Arab Emirates (UAE) officials to foster economic cooperation and attract foreign investment.

During the UAE-Mato Grosso Agriculture and Investment Roadshow held in Cuiabá, representatives from the UAE, including Ambassador Sharif Essa Al Suwaidi, met with Mayor Abilio Brunini and Governor Otaviano Pivetta. The discussions focused on strategic sectors such as food security, agribusiness, tourism, culture, and renewable energy.

Key UAE entities involved in the discussions include Al Dahra Agricultural Company, Mubadala Capital, and Emirates Airline. The initiative aims to strengthen export channels for Mato Grosso's agricultural products to the Middle East and identify opportunities in infrastructure, logistics, and technology.
