UAE and Hanwha Group advance digital finance and talent initiatives
Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, met with Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratization, to discuss national talent development. The discussions focused on boosting the competitiveness of Emirati citizens in the labor market, particularly within the private sector. Key initiatives include integrating AI and advanced technologies into government services and aligning higher education with evolving market demands to support a knowledge-based economy.
In a separate development, Hanwha Group’s financial affiliates have established several partnerships with Abu Dhabi institutions to enhance digital finance cooperation. During the Abu Dhabi Investment Forum in Seoul, Hanwha Life signed an agreement with the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) to build a digital finance ecosystem and connect Korean and Abu Dhabi capital markets. Additionally, Hanwha Asset Management, Abu Dhabi Global Market, and Hana Financial Group entered a partnership to develop stablecoin and cross-border financial infrastructure, aiming to improve payment and remittance solutions between Korea and Abu Dhabi.
