UAE and Oman leaders discuss bilateral ties and regional security
UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman met to discuss strengthening bilateral ties and regional developments. The leaders reviewed opportunities to advance economic and development cooperation to support the prosperity of both nations.
The discussions also focused on regional security and stability in the Middle East. The leaders addressed the importance of continued consultation and coordination to tackle common challenges. Additionally, they reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) integration and deepening ties among member states.
During the talks, both leaders expressed condemnation regarding a recent Israeli attack on Qatar, describing it as a violation of state sovereignty and a breach of international law that threatens regional peace.
