UAE eInvoicing Deadline Spurs Demand for Bookkeeping Services

The United Arab Emirates will make eInvoicing mandatory for businesses with annual revenue above AED 50 million, setting an Accredited Service Provider (ASP) appointment deadline of 30 October 2026 and a go‑live date of 1 January 2027. Companies must select an ASP that validates invoice data, transmits it through the Peppol network and reports tax information to the Federal Tax Authority in near real‑time.

At the same time, bookkeeping service fees in the UAE remain highly variable, with costs influenced by transaction volume, multi‑entity complexity and the need to integrate VAT and corporate‑tax compliance. Non‑compliance can attract penalties of up to 50,000 AED. Guides advise firms to evaluate pricing models—monthly retainers versus fixed‑project fees—and to choose providers that offer long‑term support, ERP integration and strategic advisory services to mitigate compliance risk.
