UAE Emirates renews Rui and Ivo Oliveira until 2029

Portuguese cyclists Rui Oliveira and Ivo Oliveira have renewed their contracts with the UAE Emirates team until 2029. The twins, who joined the team in 2019, are noted for their versatility in classics, sprints, and stage races.

Rui Oliveira, a 2024 Olympic Madison champion, recently secured his first victory for UAE Emirates during the final stage of the Volta a Portugal. Ivo Oliveira has also seen professional success, including a national title.

The team also announced several other contract extensions: Vegard Stake Laengen will remain until 2027, Felix Grossschartner and Julius Johansen have signed until 2028, and Domen Novak has committed to the team through 2029.
