UAE Extends Small Business Corporate Tax Relief Through 2029
The United Arab Emirates Ministry of Finance issued Ministerial Decision No. 131, amending the corporate tax framework to extend Small Business Relief for tax periods ending on or before 31 December 2029. The relief applies to taxable persons with annual revenue not exceeding Dh3 million (about $817 k) and offers simplified corporate tax compliance requirements. The decision maintains the revenue threshold set by Ministerial Decision No. 73 of 2023 and is presented as part of the government’s broader effort to support start‑ups, strengthen the business environment and align the UAE’s tax system with international best practices. Earlier in the year, the Ministry, together with the Federal Tax Authority and Dubai Chambers, held an awareness session on the national e‑Invoicing regime to promote digital transformation and transparency.
