UAE fintech firms expand digital payments and SME financing
Financial technology firms in the United Arab Emirates are expanding service offerings through new strategic partnerships.
Huru, an Emirati-owned financial app, has partnered with Paymentology and Bitpanda to broaden its platform. The agreement with Paymentology will facilitate the launch of a Huru card on Jaywan, the UAE’s domestic card scheme, in the fourth quarter of 2026. Additionally, a partnership with Bitpanda Enterprise will allow Huru users to trade digital assets via Bitpanda Broker MENA FZCO, a service licensed by Dubai’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority.
Separately, Numou, a subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), has partnered with Comera Financial Holding (CFH) to enhance financial solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This collaboration integrates CFH’s lending, digital payment, and supply chain finance products into Numou’s digital marketplace. The initiative aims to provide SMEs with improved access to working capital, business account opening, and inventory financing.
