UAE Knights Aerobatic Team to perform at 16th China Airshow

The UAE Air Force “Knights” aerobatic team has officially confirmed its participation in the 16th China Airshow, scheduled to take place in Zhuhai from December 7 to 13, 2026.

Marking their first return to the event in 12 years, the team will perform using the L-15E advanced trainer aircraft, which was developed by China's Hongdu Aviation Industry Corporation. This follows the UAE's 2023 agreement to procure at least 12 of these aircraft.

The Knights will join the Chinese Air Force “August 1st” aerobatic team and the Russian Aerospace Forces “Knights” team for a joint display. This marks the first time since 2016 that two foreign military aerobatic teams will perform together at the China Airshow.
