UAE Powerboat Racer Alia Fairooz Prepares in Norway for 2026 World Championship

Emirati powerboat driver Alia Abdulsalam Fairooz, competing for the 2050Sports F4 Racing Team, is undertaking an intensive training camp in Songe, Norway from 25 July to 6 August. The camp, led by Norwegian Formula 4 specialist coach Per Tralsand, forms the final phase of her preparation for the 2026 UIM Formula 4 World Championship.

Following the Norwegian sessions, Fairooz will race in Viverone, Italy (7‑9 August), compete in the Norwegian Grand Prix at Drammen (21‑23 August), and attempt a world speed record later in August (28‑30 August). She finished joint‑third in the 2025 UAE Formula 4 Championship and aims to place among the world’s top ten drivers. Fairooz said, “Every lap I complete during this camp brings me one step closer to my goal…I am determined to demonstrate that Emirati women are capable of competing in one of the most demanding forms of motorsport.”
