UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed lauds Expo 2025 Osaka pavilion's gold design award

UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with the team behind the UAE Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka. He praised their work for showcasing the nation’s achievements and for strengthening the UAE’s global presence.

The President congratulated the team on the pavilion’s Gold Award in the Interior Architecture – Trade Fairs/Temporary Exhibitions category of the iF Design Award 2026. The pavilion, designed under the supervision of Sheikha Mariam bint Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, draws on the date‑palm motif and the Expo theme “Earth to Ether” to blend Emirati heritage with futuristic aspirations. Senior officials, including Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan and other members of the ruling family, attended the meeting.
