UAE reaffirms commitment to global humanitarian action

Marking World Humanitarian Day, UAE leadership reaffirmed the nation’s commitment to global humanitarian action and relief efforts.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, stated that the country will continue to serve as a global force for hope, emphasizing that genuine humanitarian work is measured by its impact on people rather than publicity. He noted that these values have been embedded in the nation since its foundation by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

The Frontline Heroes Office added that the UAE’s humanitarian response is an integrated system driven by political will and implemented by national institutions. This approach includes providing medical, food, and other forms of assistance to alleviate suffering and restore hope in communities devastated by crises worldwide. The Office described humanitarian action as a pillar of the UAE’s soft power and a core part of its national identity.
