Isaac del Toro to lead UAE Team Emirates at 2026 Deutschland Tour

The 2026 Deutschland Tour is set to take place from August 19 to August 23, beginning with a 2.6-kilometer prologue in Bad Orb and concluding in Heilbronn. The race features a competitive field including riders from Lidl-Trek, Visma | Lease a Bike, and Soudal QuickStep.

Mexican cyclist Isaac del Toro, who recently secured third place in the Tour de France, will lead the UAE Team Emirates squad. He will share leadership responsibilities with German rider Nils Politt, a former winner of the event. Del Toro’s participation serves as key preparation for the upcoming UCI World Championships in Montreal, Canada.

Other notable participants in the German tour include Giulio Ciccone, Paul Magnier, and Wilco Kelderman. The event marks the 40th edition of the premier German stage race.
