Separately, the tenth edition of the Arab Reading Challenge will hold its closing ceremony on October 29 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. This edition saw a record participation of over 40 million students from 60 countries, representing approximately 48% of all general education students in the Arab world. The initiative has awarded a total of 110 million dirhams since its launch in 2015 to support students, schools, and supervisors.
