UAE tourism launches resident incentives and sees record visitor growth

Dubai announced a new "Dubai Invite" scheme that rewards residents up to 3,000 AED (about 3,100 zł) for encouraging friends and family to travel to the city before 31 October. Participants receive discounts on hotels, attractions and dining. Abu Dhabi is also offering free travel insurance for tourists flying with Etihad as part of a parallel promotion.

Ras Al Khaimah’s Tourism Development Authority reported that more than 670,000 visitors arrived in the emirate in the first half of 2026, a 47 % year‑on‑year increase driven by domestic travellers. The record is attributed to the RAK Moments campaign, which generated 224,000 overnight stays and AED 104.4 million in accommodation revenue. New hospitality projects, including the Rotana Ras Al Khaimah – The Mangroves hotel and the SA IJ Mountain Lodge, are slated for opening later in the year, reinforcing the emirate’s growth despite regional geopolitical tensions.
