UAE women's cricket team defeats Indonesia in Asia Cup

The UAE women's cricket team kept their semifinal hopes alive at the Women's T20 Asia Cup with a six-wicket victory over Indonesia in Dubai. After an initial loss to Sri Lanka, the UAE bounced back by bowling Indonesia out for 71 runs.

Captain Esha Oza led the performance, contributing 30 runs and taking two wickets. Suraksha Kotte was also a key bowler, finishing with figures of 3/16, while Heena Hotchandani took two wickets for six runs. Indonesia's Ni Putu Ayu Nanda Sakarini provided some resistance with a top score of 39 runs.

In the chase, the UAE reached the target in 13.1 overs, losing four wickets. Following the win, the UAE must defeat Bangladesh in their final group-stage match to secure a place in the semifinals.
