UAEH hosts international visual arts and theater symposiums
The Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo (UAEH) is hosting several major cultural events in Mexico. The XVIII International Symposium of Visual Arts, titled “Procesos, metodologías y exploraciones artísticas,” is being held at the Instituto de Artes through September 24. The symposium features international specialists from Mexico and Spain, including representatives from the University of Murcia and UNAM, to foster intergenerational and interdisciplinary exchange.
Additionally, the Centro Cultural Universitario La Garza will host the fifth Ludwik Margules Heritage Chair from September 24 to 27. This event honors the Mexican-Polish director on the 20th anniversary of his death through a series of lectures, workshops, and stage performances. The program includes prominent figures such as Aurora Cano from the National Theater Company and various scenographers and researchers, aiming to decentralize artistic heritage from the capital.
