UAEMéx celebrates 25 years of Physiotherapy program

The Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México (UAEMéx) is celebrating the 25th anniversary of its Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy. During the commemorative ceremony, Rector Martha Patricia Zarza Delgado announced plans to propose the formalization of the Center for Care, Training, and Research in Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy (CACIFTO) as an official academic department of the university.

Zarza Delgado stated that formalizing CACIFTO would strengthen academic activities, research, and social services for the people of the State of Mexico. The program aims to address contemporary health needs through professional training, prevention, and functional recovery. The event was attended by representatives from the State of Mexico Health Secretariat and the Director General of the Mexiquense Institute for Disability.
