UAEMéx hosts first Ibero-American Network of Public Ethics meeting

The Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México (UAEMéx) hosted the First Meeting of the Ibero-American Network of Public Ethics. The event, titled ‘Crisis of Values and Political Turbulence: Challenges for Good Governance,’ brought together national and international specialists to discuss the role of ethics in building responsible and transparent institutions.

During the opening ceremony, Jorge Alejandro Vásquez Caicedo, Secretary of University Governance, emphasized that academic networks provide opportunities to share experiences and research to train public servants committed to society. Celso Rodrigo Rivera Rojo, Director of Academic Environments, added that public ethics must be a daily practice to guide decision-making and restore citizen trust in democratic institutions.
