UAEMéx to host SAT mobile office for tax services

The Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México (UAEMéx) is hosting the Servicio de Administración Tributaria (SAT) Mobile Office on its Colón Campus for the first time. The initiative, organized through the Secretariat of University Management and Administration, will take place on September 29 and 30 from 9:00 to 17:00.

Targeting students, faculty, and administrative staff, the mobile unit will provide services including RFC registration, the issuance or renewal of electronic signatures (e. firma), and the printing of Tax Situation Certificates (Constancia de Situación Fiscal). On September 29, services will be available at the faculties of Medicine, Chemistry, and Nursing and Obstetrics. On September 30, the unit will move to the faculties of Urban and Regional Planning, Anthropology, and Dentistry.

Claudia Guzmán Flores, Director of Human Talent Promotion at UAEMéx, stated that the strategy aims to facilitate access to tax services and strengthen fiscal culture while reducing travel time for the university community. Participants must complete a pre-registration via a QR code provided by the university and present valid identification, CURP, and proof of address. Those requesting an e. firma must also bring a new USB drive.
