UAEMéx Rector presents university law reform proposal to Governor

Martha Patricia Zarza Delgado, rector of the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México (UAEMéx), has presented a proposal for the reform of the university's governing law to Governor Delfina Gómez Álvarez.

During the 2026-2027 academic year opening ceremony, the proposal was described as the result of a democratic participation process within the university community. The reform aims to update the institution's legal framework to address the evolving needs of its members and society.
