UAEMéx students showcase artistic works in exhibitions and film screenings
Students and faculty from the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México (UAEMéx) have showcased their artistic work through two distinct cultural initiatives.
The university's Cultural Activities Center inaugurated its 2026 Annual Plastic Exhibition, featuring 81 works created by 27 students. The collection spans various disciplines, including watercolor, jewelry design, sculpture, oil painting, and photography. UAEMéx Rector Martha Patricia Zarza Delgado emphasized that art serves as a vital tool for human formation and strengthening community bonds.
Additionally, film students from UAEMéx presented short films titled ‘Viejos Conocidos’ and ‘Elvira’ at the Centro Nacional de las Artes (CENART). The event included a discussion with Mexican actress Marina de Tavira, providing students with an opportunity to engage with industry professionals and bridge the gap between academic training and professional practice.
