UAE's Jaywan Card Scheme Expands to E‑Commerce and New FAB Debit Card

Network International, a leading fintech firm in the Middle East and Africa, announced that it has integrated the UAE's domestic card scheme Jaywan into its e‑commerce payment gateway. Cardholders can now use Jaywan for online purchases across thousands of merchants without additional fees for the merchants, extending the scheme that was previously limited to in‑person transactions.

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) has launched a Jaywan‑branded debit card that is fully integrated with the bank’s digital platform. The card supports secure in‑store and online payments, cash withdrawals, and tokenised wallet integration, and is issued under the national payment system overseen by Al Etihad Payments and the Central Bank of the UAE. Both moves are part of the UAE’s broader digital transformation strategy to promote financial inclusion and a cash‑less economy.
