Uşak breaks ground on new teacher's house and art school

Construction has officially begun on a new teacher's house and evening art school in Uşak, Turkey. The project will be built on a 20,000 square meter area on Doğan Özkaraman Avenue and is designed to include 84 rooms with a capacity of 168 beds. The facility will also feature meeting halls, culture and youth centers, study rooms, a restaurant, and an indoor parking lot.

In conjunction with these infrastructure developments, the Uşak Municipality Academy Uşak Education and Art Platform has opened pre-applications for its 2026-2027 term art courses. The programs include musical training in piano, violin, guitar, oud, and ney, as well as children's and Turkish music choirs. Applications are being accepted online through the municipal culture and arts website, with talent exams scheduled for September 2026.
