Uşak Municipality opens El Ele Kafe for disability employment
Uşak Municipality has officially opened El Ele Kafe, a new establishment designed to facilitate the employment and social integration of individuals with disabilities. The project aims to provide equal opportunities and combat social prejudices by creating a space where disabled individuals can gain professional experience.
In its initial phase, the cafe will employ six people with disabilities. To further support their development, a special education teacher will be stationed at the cafe to assist employees with vocational skills and social communication.
Uşak Deputy Mayor Hatice Terekeci Özkan stated that the facility is designed with accessibility in mind and is open to all residents of Uşak, serving as both a workplace and a community meeting point to foster social awareness and solidarity.
