Uşak Tourism Master Plan presented to Turkish Minister
The Uşak Tourism Master Plan, developed by Kapadokya University, has been presented to the Turkish Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mehmet Nuri Ersoy. The plan aims to develop the tourism potential of Uşak based on sustainable tourism principles.
Utilizing scientific data, stakeholder interviews, and field studies, the master plan provides a holistic approach to the province's natural, cultural, historical, and gastronomic assets. The strategy focuses on effectively utilizing tourism resources, increasing diversity, strengthening destination management, and positioning Uşak as a highly competitive destination within the national market.
The initiative is intended to facilitate planned and sustainable development, increasing the contribution of tourism to local and regional economic growth while enhancing Uşak's visibility in the national tourism landscape.
