UASD dean campaign closes as students set expectations for new rector

Anitza Gutiérrez González concluded her campaign for dean of the Faculty of Arts at the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD) with a call for institutional unity, emphasizing curricular transformation, research, infrastructure upgrades and transparent administration. The event gathered faculty, students, alumni and university officials, highlighting her vision for academic and artistic development.

Meanwhile, students voiced their hopes for the incoming UASD rector, seeking improvements to the virtual teaching platform, recruitment of additional faculty in key areas such as economics, and expanded opportunities for research, social projects and academic exchange. They stressed the need for modernization to enhance teaching quality and career prospects for graduates.
