Former deans of the Faculty of Humanities at the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo publicly endorsed Dr. Ana Jacqueline Ureña, praising her academic record, managerial experience and leadership abilities as she seeks the decanate. Ureña expressed gratitude for the support and pledged an inclusive, transparent administration focused on strengthening teaching, research and community outreach.
In the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences, candidate Edita Rodríguez urged faculty members and students to vote in the second‑round election scheduled for 2 July. She framed the vote as a choice of management style for the faculty and highlighted her concrete proposal to link the university with productive sectors and emerging labor demands. Rodríguez affirmed her commitment to turn the plan into action if elected.
