UASD Humanities Faculty candidates advocate participatory university model

Two candidates for dean of the Faculty of Humanities at the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD) outlined their visions for a more participatory university. Ana Jacqueline Ureña called for consolidating a model that engages the academic community and addresses national needs. Ruth Cuevas Aliés emphasized support for the rector’s project led by Dr. Radhamés Silverio, stressing the role of the humanities in critical thinking, ethics and social responsibility amid digital transformation.
