UASLP Half Marathon prepares for 2026 edition

The 2026 UASLP Half Marathon is preparing for its upcoming event, which will take place simultaneously in San Luis Potosí and Ciudad Valles on Sunday, September 27. Under the slogan ‘Acepta el reto’ (Accept the challenge), the competition features various distances including 21km, 10km, 10km for wheelchair users, and 5km.

Kit distribution for participants will occur on Friday, September 25, and Saturday, September 26. In San Luis Potosí, kits can be collected at the Centro Cultural Universitario Bicentenario (CC200). In Ciudad Valles, distribution will be held at the Teatro Manuel José Othón on the campus facilities.

To collect a kit, runners must present a photo ID and their digital confirmation email or printed responsibility letter. For minors, a parent or guardian must provide their own ID along with the child's school ID or CURP. Kits for the 21km and 10km distances include a bib, commemorative shirt, socks, and a timing chip, while the 5km kit includes a sports bandana instead of socks. Participants who complete their distance will receive a finisher's medal.
