UASLP opens 450 reallocation spots for unadmitted applicants

The Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí (UASLP) announced that approximately 450 vacant places will be available for reallocation to candidates who were not admitted during the regular admission process. The reallocation period runs from July 13 to July 17, and the university’s Secretary of School Services, Claudia González Acevedo, said, “Tenemos todavía en algunas entidades algunos espacios, alrededor de 450 lugares.”

Most of the openings are in degree programs that recorded low demand, especially in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (including Anthropology, Archaeology, Philosophy, Geography, History, and Language and Literature) and in the Altiplano West regional coordination (Administration, Agroindustrial Engineering, Computational Technologies Engineering, Business Technologies). Additional spots exist in the Faculty of Information Sciences (Archival Studies and Cybersecurity) and across nearly all majors at the Matehuala campus, with limited availability. The Faculty of Communication also created a specific reallocation pathway for applicants who aimed for the new Audiovisual Production degree, allowing them to move into the Communication degree program.
